These terms and conditions apply to the use of this website at www.recycleurphone.co.uk. By accessing this website and/or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

RecycleUrPhone can only be used by people who have registered with us. You must be a resident of Great Britain/ Northern Ireland or Western Europe. You must be legally capable of entering into a contract, Must be aged 18 or above if you are younger then 18 you must make sure you have obtained your parent's or guardian's consent to sell your phone.

Introduction

In making use of the web site you agree to abide by any and all of the following terms and conditions governing use of the web site ("Acceptable Use Policy"). No charge is made by RecycleUrMobile for your use of the web site, though you should be aware that local telephone call charges at rates as publicised by your telephone operator may apply. We hold no responsibility for charges incurred when calling our telephone number. Mobile telephone charges can vary, and so it is your responsibility to check how much your call charges will cost.

Acceptable Use Policy

You agree to abide by all applicable laws, regulations and codes of conduct and ensure that any content uploaded or distributed or stored by you does not infringe the rights of others.

All material on the web site and any material sent to you by e-mail or any other form ("the content") belongs to us or our licensors. We retain the absolute right to prevent you accessing the web site, without prejudice to any of our accrued rights, where we in our sole discretion consider that you are contravening our Acceptable Use Policy or any other aspect of these terms.

Registration

Where the web site requires that you register in order to use it, you are obliged to provide accurate and complete registration information. It is your responsibility to update and maintain any changes to that information (including your e-mail address) by altering your details as appropriate.

E-mail Policy

We reserve the right to take such action as we in our sole discretion deem fit in respect of such material.

Where appropriate we will endeavour to respond to e-mails with 2 days of receipt, but we cannot and do not guarantee to respond to e-mails. E-mails will generally be stored for 12 months after which time they will automatically be deleted. An e-mail sent to the incorrect destination is liable to be deleted immediately and if you are unsure of the correct destination for your e-mail please contact info@recycleurphone.co.uk.

Liabilities

You agree that we have no control over third party content and information which can be accessed using the web site and that we do not examine or edit the use to which you or others put the web site or the nature of the content or information being accessed and that we are excluded from all liability of any kind arising from such content or information.

Software and Security

We are not responsible for any technical or other issues that may arise if you download software from external third party web site (e.g. Acrobat Reader) or upgrade your browser software to enhance your usage of the web site.

Buying Policy

These terms and conditions apply to the use of this website at www.recycleurphone.co.uk. By accessing this website and/or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

Supplying Us

You are deemed to place an order with us by ordering via our online checkout process. As part of our checkout process you will be given the opportunity to check your order and to correct any errors. We will send you an order acknowledgement, detailing the mobile phone(s) you have agreed to supply. We will send you a confirmation by email once we have received your phone(s). We may refuse to accept an offer of supply: if there has been a pricing or product description error; or if you do not meet any eligibility criteria set out in our terms and conditions.

Pricing

The prices on our website www.recycleurphone.co.uk include VAT (Where applicable) at the current rate. We can change the prices without any notice and at any time. The orders which have been placed will be paid at the price agreed on the website and email. Once the order is confirmed you have 14 days to send the mobile/ipod. If we receive your items after this we would look at the current prices and pay you.

Payment

Once we receive your item(s) and it meets our terms and conditions, we will send a you a your payment the way you required it. The cheques will be sent out the same day (Monday to Friday working hours apply) via first class Royal Mail.

Payments will only be made to the name and address you entered when you registered.

Please note that we are neither liable nor responsible for any failure to perform or delay in performance of our obligation if it is cause by events outside our control.

Terms and Conditions for Mobile Phones

Working

The phone must be in full working order.
The phone must switch on and off.
The phone must be complete with all covers and bodywork.
The body work must be integral, not crushed or water-damaged.
The phone must be fully functional. This includes functionalities like Bluetooth and camera.
It must make a test call.
The screen must be intact and fully functional beyond the network welcoming.
The LCD must have no lines or missing pixels.
There should be no cracks and lcd should not be bleeding.
The battery must be included.
Slider mechanisms must function correctly.
All the buttons on the keypad must work.
The phone should not have too many marks or scratches because everyone wants to look good.(Normal cosmetic wear and tear is acceptable).
If the mobile phone has a touch screen the touch screen must be fully functional.

Non-Working

Once we receive your phone(s) it will be checked by one of our engineers, in case the phone(s) is physically damaged/crushed/damaged casing or if any of its functions are not working properly, phone(s) will be classified as a Non-working/broken phone.

No integral parts should be detached from the main body of the phone in any way or be missing

Wrong model

If a phone fails to meet our terms and conditions we will:-

Confirm the correct mobile phone by email for you to accept the revised offer. change your order according to the condition or the model of phone(s) that you have sent us.
Propose an adjusted price by email. If you choose to decline our new offer, we are happy to return the phone. A delivery charge will be applicable.
If we do not hear from you within 5 days we will automatically make this change and process your payment on the new model.

Stolen Phones

We do not accept stolen or barred handsets. We check all received phones via www.checkmend.com a crime protection database, to ensure that the mobile phones are not barred or registered stolen. Should we find out at any stage of the order that your phone is stolen, we reserve the right to withhold or cancel payment. By placing an order through our website, you agree to co-operate with us and any authorities should we so request, we will pass them to the relevant authorities along with the name and contact details of the customer.

By submitting an order through our site you warrant that your mobile phone(s) comply with these terms.

Please be aware:

Please remove SIM and Memory cards before sending us your mobile phone. Any SIM or Memory cards received by us will be destroyed. We accept no liability or responsibility in the event that any phone that has been sent with its SIM card is lost and charges are then incurred. You shall continue to be responsible for such charges. You are responsible for cancelling any airtime contract linked to each mobile phone. We are not responsible for any call costs that may be incurred arising before, or after, receipt of your mobile phone, or arising from any other circumstances whatsoever.

Should you have any doubt, before sending in your phone.

We recommend you to remove all data prior to sending it in to us. We are neither responsible nor liable for the security, protection, confidentiality or use of such data. By sending your mobile phone to us you agree to release us from all and any claims, losses or damages with respect to the data stored or contained therein or on any media used in conjunction with the mobile phone.

Be aware that we will not accept liability or responsibility if a SIM card or a memory card is lost and charges are incurred before or after reception. You shall continue be liable for such charges.

You are responsible for canceling any airtime contract linked to each handset. We are not responsible for any call costs that may be incurred arising before, or after, receipt of your handset, or arising from any other circumstances whatsoever.

By submitting an order through our site you warrant that the phone(s) comply with these terms.

Returns

Mobile phones will be returned to customers only if a lower price is offered and rejected.

Please ensure you remove SIM and memory cards before sending us your mobile. These will be destroyed upon reception and we will not be able to return them.

Disclaimer

While we try to ensure that the information on this Website is correct, we do not warrant the accuracy and completeness of the material on this Website. We may make changes to the material on this Website, or to the products and prices described in it, at any time without notice. The material on this Website may be out of date, and we make no commitment to update such material.

Payment

RecycleUrPhone offers payment by Cheque, BACS or paypal postal order.

Cheques will be issued within 24 hours of receiving your order and sent by Royal Mail First Class Post to the address provided on your account. We will only reissue non-received cheques 14 days after original Cheque issue. Reissuing cheques may take up to 7 days from date of request due to bank administration.

BACS payments will be in your account up to 48 hours after we accept your order. If you choose BACS it is the responsibility of the customer to enter the correct account number and sort code. We use software to verify these account details, we cannot take responsibility for account and sort codes that are input incorrectly. Please note that BACS payments cannot be reissued under any circumstances.
